i got my camera today, and it is just right. i adore it and am so happy to be able to participate in amateur photography again. no pictures of the city lights just yet, but there's me in my room wearing my expensive new glasses. thank youuuu dear father for my picture machine.
i had an elucidating meeting with my sociology of education professor today, and i actually think i can do this 20-pager. i also got my literature paper back with about the mark i expected - high b+. i am feeling slightly frustrated about writing on literature when assigned a set topic...because i feel like i am just flexing already formed muscles, demonstrating that i comprehend the topic and all that goes into it without really contributing any new ideas to it, only maybe a few nuanced insights to make the exercise seem individualized. i am going to try to talk to my professor about it because this is the type of writing we have to again do for the exam - which is 75% of the grade anyway, hopefully he will listen and respond. he is sort of too hyper to listen all that well. he did thank me for my sustained intelligence in seminar in his comments, which was quite nice to read.
otherwise i checked some books out, read some of them, had a coffee in starbucks listening to cheesy poppy christmas music like sting singing little drummer boy, went to work this morning and am about to clean my room and then go to work again. welcome to tuesdayme. i'm back to it-

uhhh... me like those glasses and this picture of you. i had forgotten how pleasant your appearance was after just reading your writing for a time. alright, i hadn't. but i still love the reminder.
why don't you look at the camera when you take pictures of yourself?
i try to, trust me, but i never like it.
maybe...i am a vampire? no really i am just picky.
