bad news
the media-oriented blog effort has been seriously impaired by probable permanent damage to my camera (i got stuck in extreme storm in 3,000ft up on the otherwise lovely scottish isle of arran, and it is mighty dubious as to whether the little guy will be able to dry back out to functionality). i'm not sure what to do or say about this yet, except that obviously i am quite distressed - this is my third camera death during world travels! i wouldn't have imagined such casualties as a matter of course...
