(sorry these videos are so cheesy) i had a lovely weekend away, with home base set in glasgow at the flat of andrew's dear friend pete. activities ranged from my cooking for five, and a free five minutes audience to indie "freak folk" band cocorosie in a major glasgow venue; museum-going, feeding at a great little italian place in the city centre, cinema-going to a strange but fascinating film about an australian aboriginal tribe called "ten canoes," and a party attended in royston castle, a huge historic mansion owned by one extremely wealthy ex-patriot iranian law professor called amin; a day's scramble up the cobbler at arrochar and loch long, and an evening picnic in the kelvingrove park to catch the end of their indian cultural festival, the glasgow mela. i did a little bit of chronicling, so check out some media, do!
