i have returned to scotland for a three-month rendevous. i intend to be somewhat more monastic than i was living here before, with plans to read for 8 or 9 hours per day. to save myself and yourself the time, i have decide to take up this blog again but with an orientation more toward media than writings. i hope you enjoy it; let's begin with my first video experiment documenting my trip to st. andrews yesterday.
i had long been dreaming of crossing the forth rail bridge, (a world-famous engineering wonder, illustration at right) and the moment seemed especially opportune yesterday for the journey into fife, as will and alex, two friends from dickinson college back in the ole us of a, are studying at st. andrews currently. enjoy my slight bit of cheese and predictable soundtrack!
